about

A rather self-explanatory title, How We Claim To Know visits the irony (or hypocrisy, if you prefer) of all (people, institutions) who represent themselves as knowledgeable and/or authoritative in matters of scriptural prophecy and yet pursue life contrary to that knowledge...

lyrics

How we claim to know the prophecies and signs
That reveal Earth's final days are here
Yet we live our lives as if we have time
To pursue vain and selfish cares

But those revelations we refuse to heed
Caring more for treasures of this world
So we'll lose our souls for pleasure and gold
Knowing not what life is worth

Many are the paths and very wide the way
Where destruction is man's destiny
While the way of life is narrow and hard
Yet leads on to eternity

Peace, love, joy, and safety, blessings on the way,
Says the sentiment that marks this age
Yet the truth of life, its bloodshed and strife
Speak of a different stage

Open up your eyes and take a look around
For it really is not hard to see
That the problems facing all humankind
Can't be solved by humanity

Many say that they possess the healing way
That shall cure the ills which plague this Earth
Yet their hearts despise the one way of life
That God sets forth in his word

There are those who wait for others to confirm
That which scripture plainly states shall be
They have placed their faith in men who debate
Whether the Word of God is real.
